Aqui o foco é a fala.
A conclusão vem antes. Ele espera que você separe fato de interpretação: "the click-through rate was 1.8 percent" é fato; "we believe the creative explains the difference" é interpretação.
"Here is the headline." "Here is what drove the result." "Here is what we learned." "Here is what we recommend."
|---|---|---|
| Resumo | A campanha atingiu a meta? | 1 a 2 min |
| 3 min |
| Aprendizados | O que aprendemos? | 2 min |
| Recomendações e próximos passos | O que fazemos agora? | 2 min |
Os tempos são só uma referência. O ponto é a proporção: o resumo é curto, os resultados e as explicações ocupam o miolo, e o fim é objetivo. A estrutura serve a ele.
Abrir a apresentação
- "Thank you for making the time."
- "I will take about fifteen minutes, and then I would like to hear your questions."
- "I will start with the headline and then walk you through the details."
- "I have shared a one-page summary. I will not read it to you."
- "If you want to jump to the recommendations, just tell me."
Bloco 1: o resumo
O resumo cabe em três frases: o resultado em relação à meta, o motivo principal e a recomendação. Fale devagar. É o trecho que as pessoas vão lembrar.
- "The headline: the campaign met its main goal and missed the secondary one."
- "We exceeded the target on leads by fifteen percent, but conversion from lead to sale was below plan."
- "The campaign generated twelve thousand leads against a target of ten thousand."
- "In short, the campaign worked for awareness, but not yet for sales."
- "My recommendation is to keep the channel that performed best and change the offer."
Preste atenção em "met", "exceeded", "missed" e "fell short of". "We met the target" é bater a meta. "We exceeded it" é superá-la. "We missed it" ou "we fell short of it" é ficar abaixo. "We reached the target" também é correto. Evite "we did the target", que o português sugere e o inglês não aceita.
Bloco 2: objetivo e contexto
- "The objective of the campaign was to generate qualified leads among mid-sized companies."
- "We measured success by cost per lead and by conversion rate."
- "The campaign ran for six weeks, from March fifth to April fifteenth."
- "The total budget was one hundred and fifty thousand reais."
- "The target audience was finance managers at companies with more than two hundred employees."
- "We ran the campaign on three channels: search, social, and email."
Em inglês britânico, "the fifth of March".
- "The campaign generated two point four million impressions."
- "Reach was eight hundred thousand unique users."
- "The click-through rate was one point eight percent, against a target of one point five."
- "We got twelve thousand leads at a cost per lead of twelve dollars."
- "The conversion rate from landing page to lead was four percent."
- "Cost per acquisition came in at thirty-five dollars, five dollars below target."
- "Return on ad spend was three point eight, slightly below the target of four."
|---|---|---|---|
| CTR | click-through rate | C-T-R, ou "click-through rate" | "The CTR was one point eight percent." |
| CPC | cost per click | C-P-C | "CPC dropped from two dollars to one dollar fifty." |
| CPM | cost per thousand impressions | C-P-M | "CPM was eleven dollars." |
| CPL | cost per lead | C-P-L | "Cost per lead was twelve dollars." |
| CPA | cost per acquisition | C-P-A | "CPA was thirty-five dollars." |
| ROAS | return on ad spend | "ROAS" ou R-O-A-S | "ROAS was three point eight." |
| ROI | return on investment | R-O-I | "ROI was positive after two months." |
| CAC | customer acquisition cost | "CAC" ou C-A-C | "CAC includes media and team costs." |
| conversion rate | taxa de conversão | por extenso | "Conversion rate was three point two percent." |
| bounce rate | taxa de rejeição | por extenso | "Bounce rate on the landing page was sixty percent." |
| engagement rate | taxa de engajamento | por extenso | "Engagement rate was four percent." |
| open rate | taxa de abertura | por extenso | "Open rate was twenty-two percent." |
Algumas regras de leitura.
- Decimais. "1.8%" é "one point eight percent". "0.5%" é "zero point five percent" ou "point five percent".
- Dinheiro. "$12.50" é "twelve fifty" ou "twelve dollars fifty". "R$ 150.000" é "one hundred and fifty thousand reais".
- ROAS como múltiplo. "3.8x" se diz "three point eight times" ou "three point eight x". "A ROAS of four means four dollars of revenue for every dollar spent." Se houver confusão, diga a definição.
- Ordem de grandeza. "2.4M" é "two point four million".
"CTR rose from two to three percent, which is a one-point increase, or fifty percent in relative terms."
| Movimento | Verbos | Exemplo |
|---|---|---|
| subir | rose, increased, grew, went up | Leads rose by twenty percent in the second half. |
| subir muito | jumped, surged | Traffic jumped after the influencer post. |
| descer | fell, decreased, dropped, went down | Cost per click fell throughout the campaign. |
| descer muito | plunged, dropped sharply | Conversion dropped sharply in week five. |
| estável | stayed flat, remained stable | Engagement stayed flat after week three. |
| oscilar | fluctuated | Daily results fluctuated between two and four percent. |
| atingir o pico | peaked | Results peaked in week two. |
| recuperar | recovered, rebounded | Conversion recovered after we changed the offer. |
Para descrever uma sequência, use marcadores de tempo: "In the first two weeks", "By week four", "Toward the end of the campaign", "After we changed the creative". E use adjetivos proporcionais: "slight", "modest", "steady", "significant", "sharp".
|---|---|
| contra a meta | against target; versus target |
| contra o orçamento | against budget |
| contra o período anterior | compared to the previous period; versus last quarter |
| contra o mesmo período do ano passado | year over year (YoY) |
| contra o mercado | against the industry benchmark |
| antes e depois | before and after the change |
Um diretor atento vai perguntar, e a resposta "I do not have the source here" derruba a credibilidade do resto.
Marque a mudança de registro: "Here is what we think explains this." Dê um ou dois motivos, com evidência.
- "The main reason was the channel mix. Search brought the lowest cost per lead."
- "The creative with a direct offer performed better than the creative with a brand message."
- "Conversion was lower on mobile, probably because the form was too long."
- "We believe the delay in the start of the campaign cost us about one week of results."
- "The data shows that email converted three times better than social."
- "We cannot say for sure, but the pattern suggests that the audience was too broad."
Observe a diferença entre "the data shows" (fato), "we believe" (interpretação com base) e "we cannot say for sure" (hipótese).
"The campaign did not meet its goal. Here is why." Quem busca desculpa perde a sala.
Bloco 5: aprendizados
Aprendizado não é repetir o resultado. É o que mudaria na próxima decisão.
- "The first lesson is that a direct offer works better than a brand message for this audience."
- "We learned that mobile needs a shorter form."
- "Next time, we would test the creative before launching at full budget."
- "What we would do differently: we would start with a smaller budget and scale what works."
- "One thing that surprised us: email performed better than we expected."
E what worked e what did not work são perguntas que o público quase sempre faz. Tenha a resposta pronta.
Bloco 6: recomendações e próximos passos
- "We recommend shifting thirty percent of the budget from social to search."
- "We recommend keeping the campaign running for two more weeks with the new offer."
- "Our proposal for the next phase is to test two versions of the landing page."
- "The next step is your approval of the new budget."
- "We would like to run an A/B test on the offer before scaling."
- "I will send the full report and the plan by Friday."
Termine com uma ação e um prazo. "Let me know what you think" é um fechamento fraco. Prefira: "Could you confirm by Friday whether we can move forward with the test?"
Perguntas difíceis do diretor, com respostas modelo
"Did the campaign work?" "Partly. It met the goal for leads, and exceeded it by fifteen percent. It did not meet the goal for sales. The lead quality was lower than expected, and I will explain why."
"How do I know the results came from the campaign and not from something else?" "A fair question. We cannot isolate the effect completely. What we did was compare the campaign period with the same weeks last year, and compare the regions with the campaign against one region without it. Both comparisons point in the same direction, but attribution is never exact."
"What is the conversion from lead to sale?" "Eight percent so far, against a target of twelve. The cycle is still open, so the number may improve as the leads mature. I will update you next month."
"Why is the CPA higher than the target?" "Two reasons. The cost per click was higher than planned in the first two weeks, and the conversion rate on mobile was low. We corrected both from week three, and CPA has been below target since then."
"What is the benchmark based on?" "It is an industry average from a report we use. I can share the source after the meeting. I would not use it as a target, only as a reference."
"Should we spend more?" "On search, yes, because the return is above target and there is room to grow. On social, no, until we fix the offer. I recommend shifting thirty percent of the social budget to search and measuring for four weeks."
"What would you do differently?" "We would test the creative before the full launch. We lost about one week to a message that did not work, and a small test would have shown it."
"Is this number final?" "Not yet. The numbers are preliminary. Some conversions are still within the attribution window, and I will confirm the final figures next week."
Duas regras gerais para responder. A primeira: dê a resposta curta primeiro, depois a explicação. "Partly" antes de "the lead quality was lower". A segunda: não invente. Se você não sabe, diga: "I do not have that figure here. I will confirm and send it by end of day."
"Thank you for making the time. I will start with the headline. The campaign met its goal. We generated twelve thousand leads against a target of ten thousand, and the cost per lead was twelve dollars, against a target of fifteen.
The campaign ran for six weeks, from March fifth to April fifteenth, with a budget of one hundred and fifty thousand reais. The objective was to generate leads among finance managers at mid-sized companies.
Here are the results. The click-through rate was one point eight percent, above our target of one point five. The conversion rate on the landing page was four percent. Search delivered sixty percent of the leads at the lowest cost per lead.
Here is what we think explains this. The ads with a direct offer, a free checklist, performed twice as well as the ads with a brand message. We also believe the audience definition was right, because the click-through rate stayed stable throughout the campaign.
What we learned: the offer matters more than the format. Our recommendation is to repeat the campaign in the next quarter, shifting ten percent of the budget from social to search. The next step is your approval of the budget. Could you confirm by Friday?"
Exemplo 2: campanha que ficou abaixo da meta
"Thank you for making the time. The headline is that the campaign did not meet its main goal. We generated seven thousand leads against a target of ten thousand, a shortfall of thirty percent. I will explain what happened and what we recommend.
The campaign ran for six weeks with a budget of one hundred thousand reais. Cost per lead was nineteen dollars, against a target of fifteen.
Here is what the data shows. Results were close to target in the first two weeks and fell sharply in week three. At that point, we saw that frequency had risen to nine, which means each person saw the ad nine times on average, and the click-through rate dropped from one point six to point eight percent.
We believe the audience was too narrow, which caused ad fatigue. We cannot say for sure, because we did not test a wider audience.
What we would do differently: we would test two audiences before launching at full budget, and we would set a frequency cap from the start. Our recommendation is to run a four-week test with a wider audience, with twenty percent of the original budget. If the cost per lead falls below fifteen dollars, we scale. If not, we revisit the offer.
The next step is your decision on the test. I will send the full report by Thursday."
Erros comuns
Começar pela história da campanha. O ouvinte quer a conclusão primeiro.
Mostrar métricas demais. Escolha de três a cinco. O resto vai no anexo.
Não dizer a meta. Um número sem meta não diz nada.
Confundir percentual com pontos percentuais. Diga qual dos dois é.
Dizer "significant" sem teste. Em estatística, a palavra tem sentido técnico.
Esconder o que deu errado. Resultado ruim apresentado com clareza gera respeito. Resultado ruim escondido gera perguntas.

Dê a definição: "Return on ad spend, which is the revenue generated for each dollar spent on ads."
"I do not have that figure here. I will confirm and send it by end of day." É curta, honesta e profissional.
Devo usar "we" ou "I" na apresentação?
Use "we" para o que a equipe fez e "I" para opiniões e recomendações pessoais. "We ran the campaign" e "I recommend we continue".
Como apresento um resultado preliminar?
Diga que é preliminar e quando virá o final: "These numbers are preliminary. We will confirm them next week."
